Share Draft Facts
- Eligibility-
- To be eligible for an individual or joint Share Draft (Checking) account you:
- A: Must be a member, in good standing, of the Augusta Health Care Credit Union.
- B: Must be 18 years of age for individual account (joint account can consist of a minor and a legal guardian).
- C: Must not have had a checking account involuntarily closed in the Past 2 years.
- Overdraft Protection-
- Clearance of share draft checks in excess of the account balance may be resolved by automatic transfer from the member's master share (savings) account. You can have one automatic transfer per month without a fee.
- Monthly Statement-
- A monthly statement will be mailed to the address on record and will show activity of the share draft (checking) account from the 1st through the end of the month.
